Get rich today? or this week?

There are many ideas and even whole web sites out and about that will pretty much promise to make you rich overnight.  We do not, never have, and never will do this.  We are here to help beginners start to earn an online income.  In the first while as we help you keep costs down, you may not even break even.  If you follow our concepts and ideas, then in a while (possibly even months) you can make a good living by working and earning online.  We would always hope you can be one of those who do get rich off of this, but honestly, those are only a very few percent.  As your online ideas evolve and develop as should your own knowledge, you should fairly quickly at least be able to break even, which should always be the first goal.  If you make enough to have no more costs moving forward, that is a very worthwhile achievement.
If you are in a position to spend more time at all of this, especially in content development, you should move forward faster,   This does not mean that even an hour every day or two will not work, it will probably just take a while longer, don’t worry, don’t stress, it can happen.  Work within your resources!
If you start with just doing online surveys and researching your overall project, then that is all good.  Online surveys can and do pay, but hopefully you would just use this income to pay to move forward towards your own website or blog.
As you have noticed, our individual posts do not require you to read a huge long bunch of information that you may not need to know as you start to earn towards an online income.  We go over the basics that as a beginner, and with our own experience helping beginners, is information that you should at least know a little about to get started.
We often comment, HAVE FUN!

Backlinks for Beginners

As part of your SEO research and learning you have probably at least seen the term backlink?  A backlink is simply a link from another site back to yours.  This can be a link to your domain name, or even just to a blog post or excerpt.  If you guest post to another blog, as we said, use branding and include your domain name, this would be a backlink.  If you answer questions at a Q and A site, use your domain name, another backlink.  One thing to mention here that you may have found in your research would be backlink generators, sites that create maybe even thousands of backlinks to your site; do not use these, most search engines already know what you are trying to do and know where to ignore backlinks from.
As we have said before, stay legitimate, if not and you get a little success by cheating, you can be blocked by search engines, then what?  Stick with giving yourself a good name, stay legitimate, it may take longer to start but it is always worth it in the end.
Backlinks also get weighed in search results, meaning, if you can get linked back from a top level web site, that will be of more value than a link back from say jacksthingamijigs.com; saying that though, all backlinks will have some form of value.  And, do not pay for a backlink!  If you can you are welcome to join a link exchange program as long as it is free, simply you get links back to your site by also providing links back to those other sites.  This will get you backlinks, help others, and do no harm to your own efforts.
Another aspect to use, again sticking with a one time effort with no associated costs; if you have more than one domain, link them all back to each other, as we said, any backlink will have some value so why not create your own web of domain names?
One last idea for this particular post, also look at writing and submitting articles to an article database, this also provides for a free backlink and also helps with branding and getting your name out and about.

Affiliate Marketing for Beginners

Affiliate marketing is probably one of the oldest forms of earning an online income especially for beginners. ProWebZone started with this probably around twenty years ago. The process has changes significantly since that time. At the end of the day this is mostly just selling your websites white space to an advertiser, in the form usually of banner advertising. We have all been to websites and seen banner ads.
How as a beginner do you earn an online income from this? You place advertising where your visitors will see them, and if your customer clicks on one of these ads you may earn directly from this. Banner advertisements can pay out for different actions:
  • Pay per click through, when your web visitor clicks on one of your ads
  • Pay per impression, where you get a smaller pay out just for showing a banner to your visitors
  • Pay per purchase, the most common, you get nothing unless the click converts to a sale
There are many hybrid payments programs also so read the fine print and make sure you know what does and does not earn you an online income
Most current content management systems provide a plug in or add on that will allow you to place advertising, and even rotate multiple banners. More often than not all you need to do is copy some pre-configured ad code from the affiliate site, paste it into you CMS and save. Fairly quick and easy for a beginner.
You can choose to find individual affiliate programs, usually a link at the bottom of that products website, or we would recommend a “congratulator” which is one sign up at one site and access to even 100’s of programs.
Another important note is that most programs like these have a minimum payout threshold so, again review the details. Most current programs have a hundred dollar minimum payment so conglomerator as you often combine all commissions from all programs into one lump sum income, which means more and quicker payouts. If you have ten programs paying individually, then you could be stuck at say $95 each so not earn anything until you pass that mark.
Obviously there is a lot more to say here about earning an online income as a beginner with affiliate marketing. We here in this article just wanted to give you a general overview and maybe give you some more income ideas that may work for you.

World Wide Web, Internet, and even Dark Web

So, you have probably heard all the terms in this posts title, yet most people confuse one with the next and the definitions over time get very grey.  We are here to help beginners and as such will explain what each aspect really is and hopefully you will follow and at least have a better idea of what goes into which.
First off, the world wide web, this is actually what you mostly see and use when YOU are online.  The world wide web does in fact “use” a lot of internet based sciences to get you what you see (TCP/IP, to be explained further in the future).  You are in fact only using a very small, tip of a huge iceberg, part of what is available “online”.  So, what most today refer to “the internet” is in fact “the world wide web”.  That is all, a very small part, but, what you mostly see when you are online.
The internet is a whole long story that we will try here to explain in plain english hoping you can realize the actual extent and potential power.  The internet started out as a US military communications network that was back in the cold war era.  The original concept was to be able to communicate across most of the USA even if a russian nuclear device took out part of this original network.  There were built in redundancies and the ability to re-route messages around compromised parts of the network.  Eventually ( and yes, moving quite a ways forward fairly quickly for the sake of simplicity) this evolved and was used by several universities in and around mostly California.  A large amount of programming took place fairly quickly and this network evolved, though, still keeping mostly within an academic environment.  Of note here is this original system used terminals for data entry, you can see similar in older movies, the green writing on the black screen.  There was no graphic interface for users as in the world wide web and “modern” browsers.  Eventually business and then individuals were able to add themselves (well, back then, be added) to this evolving network.  Though with much evolving, the basic original networks are still kind of in use today.  This was and is the actual “internet”.
And lastly, what is now called the dark web.  The original public internet used the similar terminal interface and was able to be used for text based gaming, forums, and emailing.  What has evolved is a far way from the original dark web, nowadays there is a graphical interface.  What is commonly referred to as the dark web is actually just another area of the current world wide web.  There is a general sense of anonymity, and as such, there is a large amount of questionable content.  If you have no experience, try and avoid the dark web as it can be quite scary as most of what you have heard can be found there, probably can, and is probably not the worst you will find there.

So, stay happy, stay productive, learn to earn, and stay on the internet you know!

Some More on Branding

We can not emphasize enough, your brand is you, your brand is what your customers see, your brand is what your customers should know and trust.  Always brand everything you do online, posts, answers, forum posts, articles, even generic emails should all carry your domain name and brand.  Use your logo as much as possible so people will recognize where you have been, what you have contributed towards.
An extremely important part of branding is your logo, initially while you are building your online presence, you can evolve your log, but, we will strongly suggest that once you decide on an initial design then try and stick with only revisions.  If you decide on a total redesign, do it at the very beginning.  Try and follow the general concepts you originally decide, blue can be dark or light but try and stick with “blue”, and yes, same with red or whatever else….  If you change the font, stay with the same colors, if you change the colors at least stick with the same or very similar font.
One of the goals of establishing an online brand is that your customers build trust and will tell others, this site is good, the information is good, this works for me, I trust them.  If all the above is based on brand recognition, which is often the case, then make sure your branding is out and about and yours and recognizable!

A great resource for domain name registrations

ProWebZone has used these for registrations for quite a while and they are good.  There is a great response to inquiries, they seem to really get the customer service concept.  They can also get you access to all the latest new domain extensions, and even have annual pricing starting at under $1.  We advise often, start with your new idea, decide on a domain name that reflects your intents, then check with someone like here and find an ideal extension.
As often, we are in fact supported here only by advertiser revenue, so, if you check these out, you will be helping us stay live here.

Want FREE backlinks and traffic to your programs?

OnlineIncome.team

Many will argue about this but we have always had success with advertising….not that kind, free online classifieds.  If you brand this and link back to your own site (maybe for more information) or at least if you go direct to an affiliate landing page, include your domain name or other branding somewhere.
One key to posting to online classifieds would be to use a separate to your regular email address.  You do this in case you get a ton of notifications from who knows who…if that happens you can just close or ignore that email, hence, do not use your primary email to sign up for a free classified ad site.
You may also want to consider if the classified site is targeting a particular demographic.  If so, then you have multiple options, the top two being compete directly with your products and offers.  Another option is absolutely to target your ad content to something that you do not see on that site.  So basically at a monster truck site, advertise say healthy eating or dieting, less relevant traffic, but, no competition, and if that is something a visitor is interested in, you get the click!
Don’t forget also, many including ours allows you to post your affiliate program links, again, be sure and reference to your own branding.

Beginners advice on what is a niche, and why should you know and care about your own niche?

What is a niche?  Why should a beginner know and care about your own?

You should have, in your basic research, many times ran into the word or term niche.  Generally a niche refers to your content, site context, your target audience, and where online you intend to earn an online income.
There are 2 parts of the definition of niche that are relevant to us here:
  • place or position suitable or appropriate for person or thing: this is regarding your customers, this, in our context is finding a place online that is suitable or appropriate to your customers.  This means having the content that they are looking for and have found, probably through a search engine.
  • distinct segment of a market:  the main word here is distinct.  This is where your content is important, if you search online for something (even just information) for your particular pet, you could look up pets.  There are many problems as you probably know with this:
    • If you search pets, you get sites for all pets, if you have an aquarium, do you want or need to know about cats or dogs?  Probably just not go to those generic “pet” sites.  If you have a dog, you will not go to a cat site.  If you have  a large breed dog you will probably search for large breed dogs and not just dogs.  How many dog treats are you likely going to buy from a site about birds?
If you want to compete against all the others online line say selling dog treats, you won’t get many sales conversions.  If your site is about large breed dogs, you may sell more than a generic dog site.  The goal is to specialize as much as you can and in effect eliminate a lot of your competition.  There are many earn online websites, too many for us here to compete against.  we here specialize in helping beginners learn to earn.  We try not to have 5000 word posts that you will never completely read.  As a beginner the more you know the better, in certain ways, as much as learning coding or programming would be good, it should not be you priority, learn the basics and start to earn an online income, then expand your knowledge and experience as you continue.
Your niche is your own small piece of a market that you specialize in, you want to be a subject matter expert in this one small are, you need to be know as an online authority for information regarding your chosen niche.
Back to pen and paper (or notepad), how do you find your own niche?  You need to start with a general area of research based on your intended content.  Why the pen and paper, to take notes.  Start with one keyword that describes your intended content, and write down any interesting words you find in titles and descriptions of those results.  We even list other domain names that may be sort of in our intended direction, collecting ideas.  Visit some of those search result sites and get more ideas about what they offer, what they have for content, and what you want to do differently.  You are not looking to outright copy anything just looking at ideas, and even write down stuff you find that you want to avoid in your own content and design.  Also, note that some of the top sites should already be specialized, so see which specialized areas of your subject are currently getting higher search results.
There are many search engine tools that will list for you recent common words or phrases people have searched for, if you don’t see your are there, that may be good, not much current competition.  Use a search engine and query such as most common searches this week or month, if you see a related patter, write that down.
Back your own niche, your goal is to find what already exists and what there may be little to no competition in, based on your sites intent.  Start thinking like a potential customer, search as you would if you were looking for information on what your content is.  Again, write down any ideas, if there are 100s of results for a particular search string,, then you will be competing with many other more established sites.  Maybe look at slight redirection of your specialty, the ideal goal would be to find keywords or phrases that people are looking for, in your area of expertise, with low search results.
Why do you need to know and care about this stuff?  Who would you rather come to your site, someone who is looking for some information, sees a product or service for sale, then price shops other sites?  Or someone looking for you specific information and may buy from you because there are not many other places that offer your specialty.  If your content and presentation are good, but you don’t get buying customers, then you may want to re-think your strategies.  You can easily have the same products as many other sites, but, if you have specific knowledge  and information and are a subject matter expert, then your visitors will spend more time on your site, and hopefully make that purchase from you.  How many kitchen appliances have you purchased from an online pet store?  If this is your goal, searching kitchen will get you a bunch of renovation sites, kitchen being a really large market, but, kitchen appliances , still a large market, but a step smaller.  Your goal in establishing your own niche is to do the same, narrow things down, but, go much further.

If you can offer expertise, subject matter knowledge and be authoritative on your specific products, then the advertising and even search results become much more relevant and will help you  learn to earn!

Lastly, lets go back to your pen and paper, now you have ideas about what you want to do, what others are doing, more knowledge of your competition, more ideas on what you do not want to do.  Start highlighting or re-writing good and bad points or ideas.  At the end you should have a much better idea on how to establish your website, get better SEO results, and importantly, get more buying customers$
